We were hired by co-owner and chief brand officer Krysta Morgan in 2022 to expand awareness of her Idaho Falls, ID based lip care brand. Founded in 2014 by Derek Cooper, Poppy & Pout had grown leaps and bounds since inception, thanks to their exceptional branding, strong brand values, forward thinking business practices, and noteworthy licensing partnerships. Krysta was ready to elevate their position in the personal care space and knew that adding a public relations partner was the missing piece in their marketing strategy.

In the two years that we have represented Poppy & Pout, we have generated countless earned media placements for them, enabling them to claim a position in the market alongside their competitors. We employed a mix of both traditional and new media tactics to generate opportunities for Poppy & Pout, which resulted in beauty reviews, shopping stories, gift guides, unpaid influencer posts, and, most recently, awards — in 2024 alone Poppy & Pout was recognized with three of the most covetable media awards.

We were hired by founder Laurel Smith in 2023 to boost the visibility of her Charlottesville, VA based planner line. Founded in 2020, Laurel Denise is Laurel’s second brand — which was a result of a lightbulb moment she had while operating her first brand (a line of personalized jewelry that retailed at the likes of Anthropologie which she later sold). While planning and organizing her own life, she saw a need for a planner that enabled her to see her daily, weekly, and monthly pages all at once. Laurel Denise has a distinct place in the planner space — Laurel speaks to a variety of audiences from everyday women and moms to teachers and neurodivergent people, making planning for daily life, staying productive, and achieving big goals a more approachable topic. Since inception she’s developed a cult-like following, but was ready to expand her reach through public relations.

In the year that we have represented Laurel Denise, we have focused on placing her planners in stories during the two traditional annual planner seasons: new year and back to school, while also showcasing the timelessness of her products through year-round editorial coverage. Laurel Denise planners have made several ‘best of’ lists, along with key positions in gift guides, product reviews, founder and brand profiles, and unpaid influencer posts.

We were hired by founder and interior designer Maggie Griffin in 2018 to support her efforts of taking her Gainesville, GA studio to the next level. Founded in 2008, Maggie and her team are responsible for transforming homes across the Southeast, beloved by homeowners for infusing her traditional sensibilities with smart solutions for modern living. Maggie received organic press placements in the decade prior to working with us, but was ready for a more consistent cadence of press, larger features, and more alignment with the media outlets covering her and her studio.
