Currently Coveting – March Edition
True life: We want it all. But can you blame us? The world is our oyster. That’s why we’re debuting this new monthly series, Currently Coveting, where we’ll take turns sharing five things that, well, we’re currently coveting. I’ll be kicking it off this month with products designed to help you stay productive, organized, and balanced, both at work and at home.
Blue Sky Noteworthy™ ($19.99+)
I don’t know about you, but I’d be lost without my planner and notebook. And while I LOVE my dynamic duo, carting both of them around when I’m out of the office can be a touch annoying (and heavy!). That’s why I’m so excited about Blue Sky’s latest launch, Noteworthy™. It’s a first-of-its-kind, next generation planner that combines all the functionality of a planner AND a notebook. I know what you’re thinking: Why didn’t someone think of this sooner?!!
Palo Santo Incense Bundle ($12)
If you follow us on Instagram, you may have caught a glimpse of the unique way we start our Monday meetings: With a smudge of palo santo. Touted for clearing bad energy, bringing luck, and providing spiritual protection, it has an instant grounding effect on me. We smudge as a team when setting our weekly intentions, and I smudge myself from head to toe (on my front and back sides) whenever I’m feeling a little out of whack or need a reminder to slow down and breathe.
Pursoma Digital Detox Bath ($34)
While we’re only three months in, I can confidently say that 2018 will be the year of the bath. I can’t remember not ever being a fan, but baths were historically saved for special or SOS occasions (#tbh, mostly the latter). Until now, as I’ve been averaging four a week since the start of the year. Who dis?! They’re my self-care go-to and most involve epsom salts (like this remedy which draws out toxins, stimulates circulation, and eases sore muscles), a hydrating face mask, and a much needed break from my phone.
Cuyana Oversized Carryall Tote ($265)
Hands up if you believe the bigger the handbag, the better. 🙋🏻♀️ I want something that’s large and totally in charge. And if it can double as a pretty handbag, I’m totally in. I love that this leather option can can hold all of my daily ‘necessities,’ from my laptop and my bkr to the 10 lipsticks/glosses that I keep forgetting to put away. Having everything all in one place makes me feel organized, even if there are a million receipts littering the interior.
Apple HomePod ($349)
Oprah’s SuperSoul Conversations. Lore. The goop podcast. Hidden Brain. Marie Forleo Podcast. Fat Mascara. How I Built This With Guy Raz. The Sleep Meditation Podcast. These are a few of my favorite podcasts. I love listening when I get ready in the morning, when I can’t fall asleep at night, and at the office on occasion (when we’re not listening to the new album from a band that Caitlin saw at ACL). While so-much-more-than-just-a-speaker, I’d happily give my phone a break for this.
Allyson Conklin is ACPR’s founder and a Capricorn. She’s driven, stubborn, competitive, responsible, and disciplined. That explains a lot, including why she resolved to give up desserts this year.
